Returned to Competition Summer 2008!

After a year and a half hiatus due to injury, Steinburg returned to showing in the summer of 2008 ridden by trainer, Gerhard Ablinger. Steinburg attended three shows scoring consistently in the 60's at Third, Fourth and Prix St. George levels. As we get closer to the 2009 show season we will know better what Steinburg's show schedule might be. In the meantime, we look forward to warmer temperatures and some February sunshine.

With spring approaching, we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Steinburg's first offspring! Amanda McRae's Trakehner mare, Firenza of Fortitude Farm in Selma, Indiana, is expecting a foal in late March or early April. We hope to have photos, maybe even video of the new arrival!

Please note, that in order to accommodate Steinburg's competition schedule, he is available for breeding on a limited basis. Fresh-cooled semen is available in April only. Frozen semen will be available the remaining months of the year or by special arrangement.
